Job Description / Descripción del trabajo + Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary + Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc. + Prepare walls, pipes, vessels and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc. + Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster) + Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture + Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools + Apply other coating finishes such as intumescent fireproofing. + Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. + Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. + Performs other related duties as assigned. + Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and foremen. Requirements / Requisitos 1. Minimum 2 Years experienceas painter or similar role 2. Must be at least 18 years old. 3. On-the-job training offered. 4. Prolonged periods standing and working outside. 5. Physically able to perform assigned tasks.
