We are looking for a Painter to support our Graphics team in Akron, Ohio. The LSI Industries location in Akron, OH is the hub for the Printed Retail Graphics & Décor, Digital Solutions, and Adapt Program Implementation businesses. These businesses provide turnkey product and service solutions to the Grocery, Quick Serve Restaurant, Retail Petroleum & Convenience Store and Pharmacy vertical markets.

SUMMARY:

Use paint application techniques and equipment to professionally finish custom fabricated surfaces fulfilling client specifications. Work on the shop floor as assigned and as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledge of the use of a gravity fed spray gun
Understand the painting techniques on all substrates painted at location
To have an eye for color samples used to match color approval
Operate Binks spray & cure booth
Follow all company policies and safety rules
Able to read and understand work orders and manufacturing specs
Able to read a standard tape measure
Able to pass medical questionnaire and fit test for respirator; minimal facial hair to ensure good respirator fit
Maintain a clean facility - good housekeeping habits required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
