Job Summary:

Responsible for all phases of decorative finishing, shielding, color, texture, and silk-screens using spray guns and other equipment.

Available shifts:

A Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm
B Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30 am -3:30 pm
Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5 am - 5:30 pm

Essential Functions

Job Performance:
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Performs functions per product specifications and/or requirements, according to work order traveler.
Performs paint mixing as assigned.
Documents technical data as assigned.
Verifies product visually, measures and records resistivity strength, if applicable
Meets or exceeds established manufacturing goals
Maintains work area, equipment, and tools in a clean condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Maintains acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality.
Must be willing to accept and receive supervision, instructions, and perform other duties as assigned.
Maintains safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Must adhere to company policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements

Ability to adequately work with appropriate tools and equipment, frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Must have adequate mobility for stooping, bending, lifting, strength and grip requirements necessary to frequently manipulate and/or lift 40 lbs. Regularly required to stand for long periods at a time, regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to maintain continuous arm motion for sustained periods of time using spray gun equipment.
Must pass OSHA Respirator Medical Evaluation Questionnaires and/or spirometry evaluation. Respirators are not required but are provided upon request (some areas/jobs could require respirators).
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Must wear safety glasses with side shields in all production areas and hearing protection must be worn in designed areas at all times.
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, heat and cold temperatures vary according to season.
This position is considered a high risk position due to the manufacturing environment, moving machinery, and forklift traffic.
Education, Skills/Qualifications:

Semi-skilled position, must be able to read and communicate in English, 1 year production/manufacturing preferred. Industrial or auto paint experience preferred.
