Qualifications: • Completed high school diploma or GED • Must be computer literate • Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing, production, and/or warehouse environment where safety is a high priority. (HIGHLY PREFERRED) • Must demonstrate stable work history • Must be able to work in a high pace manufacturing environment • Must be detail oriented • Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screen. Essential functions: Standing, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, reaching; and the ability to lift weight s up to 45 lbs. PPE Required: • Steel toe boots • Safety glasses (provided) • Ear plugs (provided) • Safety gloves (provided) • Hard hat (provided)
Responsibilities:
Packager Temporary Assignment Working directly with fiberglass insulation in a manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities Comply with all Plant Safety Rules and Government Regulations and ensure a safe healthy work environment; report all safety concerns to immediate supervisor. Will operate different types of packing equipment and know all associated safety procedures of each piece of equipment; keep working area in a clean, neat, tidy condition on a continual basis. Follow all instructions for production goals and efficiency. Perform other related duties that may be assigned by manager.
Comments/Special Instructions
Contingent workers must have cleared the drug test prior to starting at the facility; workers can start with background check pending, but the assignment is contingent upon successful completion.
We need to be notified in advance if worker is ready to start, and we will confirm a start date. Workers will go through a plant safety training upon arrival, before entering the plant floor. Workers are required to have steel or composite toe shoes; we will provide all other PPE.
One or two of these positions have the potential to go temp to perm, based on performance, attendance, etc.
