HELPER - Overhead Crane/Hoist Repair
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Applicants will provide assistance to a craftsman/leadmen to do quality installation, inspections, maintenance and repairs of hoist and crane equipment The ideal candidate will have some experience in electrical and mechanical skills and perform any combination of the following duties:
- Ability to safely work with various hand, electric or pneumatic hand tools
- Work from elevated heights
- Assist leadmen in various daily activities involving inspection/repair process of business
- Ability to learn and fill out required paperwork associated with job
Skills / Qualifications
- High School/Equivalent
- 1+ to 2 Years
- Must have a current valid driver's license
- Have a TWIC card or willing to get one
- Pass client background checks and drug screens
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn
- Must be willing to work overtime and after hour call outs
- Work in a cost-effective manner
- Employee must be able to solve practical problems which deal with a variety of variables
