The position involves disassembling auto parts from late-model vehicles. APS provided a specially equipped vehicle that employees operate out of. The employee is responsible for providing their own hand and power tools. No diagnosing, troubleshooting, assembly, or customer returns this position just focuses on disassembling, inspecting, and prepping auto parts. Accountabilities:
Processing of customer part orders
Dismantling vehicle parts
Prepping parts
Quality inspection
Locating parts and vehicles
Operations of heavy equipment
Education/Work Experience:
A high school diploma is required
Automotive knowledge is required and experience preferred
Forklift experience and certification preferred
Basic automotive tools are required
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to safely lift heavy objections weighing up to 120lbs
Ability to learn and work in a fast pace environment
Skills to efficiently inspect, remove, and prep auto parts
Skills to safely operate tools and equipment
Skills to operate equipment such as forklifts, trucks, and wheel loaders
