Job Overview
2nd Shift M-F 2pm-1030pm EST
a) Key Areas of Accountability/Responsibility
1. Handle raw materials, transport from storage to dispensary, weigh them as required, per the
batch formula and add them to required mixer. In addition, all production operator employees
will be required to load blenders, complete final packaging, and sample per batch requirement,
inspect both raw materials and finished goods as well as safely palletize and store raw materials
and/or finished goods. Employee must follow 4-eye principle guideline at all times.
2. Able to work unsupervised in all in areas of the production process. In addition, as the
Production Operator, one must demonstrate advanced process knowledge.
3. Monitor, report and document equipment failures; record exception, deviations and actions
taken.
4. Report disturbances to the Supervisor or backup supervisor and inform him/her about
production process adjustments/concerns.
5. Take samples of raw materials and finished goods for quality and analytical testing.
6. Perform assembly work on equipment when necessary to ensure continuous efficient operation
of process.
7. Ensure good housekeeping within area of responsibility, in compliance with guidelines, orders
and instructions. Allergen storage, cGMPs, 5S and other programs/requirements fall into
housekeeping requirements and must be followed.
8. Alert offenders of nonconformities. Notify supervision if and when standards are not complied
with.
9. Support in investigating asset utilization issues.
10. Communicate relevant details with all team members, including leaving and incoming shift
colleagues.
11. Responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting equipment performance.
12. Responsible for reporting and the escalation of SHE incidents and participating in root cause
analysis teams.
13. Ability to work in confined spaces intermittently (non-permit required).
14. Ability to work at height (approximately 14 feet).
15. Ensures cGMP Compliances. Practices 5S guidelines as outlined in SOP's.
16. Participates in the training and coaching of team members.
17. Serves as back-ups to the senior production operators.

19. Business needs may dictate working different shifts and overtime, as needed. Must be flexible. • Handle raw materials, transport to designed room or location, weigh them as required
per the batch formula and add them to required blender. Additionally, employees may be
required to complete final packaging and safely palletize and store raw materials
and/or finished goods.
• Capable of leading a blending team in the absence of a senior team member.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts, tasks may vary.
• Take raw material and finished goods samples for quality and analytical testing.
• Monitor equipment and process parameters; record process conditions and actions according to
applicable SOP's.
