Job Overview
Provide systems engineering expertise to research, analyze and develop an Integrated Modeling Environment (IME) that includes the integration of modeling language, modeling methodology and modeling tools. Additionally, the IME requires Reference Models (ontology), Knowledge Models (KM) (combination of architecture, logic and descriptions), Process Model (process for KM development and application) and Data Access (scripts to auto-generate model views and other engineering artifacts).
Essential Job Functions:
Applies scientific, mathematics and statistical methodologies to the study and analysis of technological problems in relation to engineering and scientific development of processes, systems and equipment.
Uses mathematical and computerized modeling and other analytical techniques, to design procedures for and execute experiments, test and evaluations on weapons systems or equipment.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
A BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or Engineering and 14 years of recent and relevant experience or a MS or MA degree plus 10 years of experience.
Active Secret security clearance.
At least 10 years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering position, 3 of which must be directly related to naval systems.
Demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise is required.
Desired Skills:
Systems engineering expertise to operate and apply SysML modeling tools including Sparx EA, MajicDraw and Rhapsody.
MBSE experience.
