To support this rapid growth we are looking for key individuals to join our talented, dynamic team.

LongPath is seeking an Operations Engineer to manage the technical aspects of successfully deploying our emissions monitoring systems. The ideal candidate would thrive coordinating work between many different teams across the company to progress technical development, support field operations, and improve emission monitoring data quality.

Requirements

• Experience with project or construction management

• Ability to understand all kinds of schematics, including 3D CAD modeling

• Experience interpreting and communicating complex data products

• Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field

Key Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate the deployment and maintenance of monitoring systems

• Plan with field teams to schedule installation and maintenance of laser systems

• Continue to improve the data product and uptime of the systems

• Interface and coordinate between different teams inside of LPT to ensure a smooth transition from planning, production, deployment, to ongoing operation and maintenance

• Communicate production schedule and deployments to appropriate parties to ensure proper completion and delivery date

• Support the development and operations teams to spread knowledge for more consistent operation

• Contribute to continuous improvement of process and hardware designs

• Diagnose and support the field repair and maintenance efforts

• Quantify system reliability and quality to mitigate system failures (hardware & software) and to take corrective action

Working Conditions

• Work is primarily performed in an office environment

• Travel to industrial oil facilities may be required up to 10% time

• Primary job location is Boulder, CO

Salary range for this position is $70k to $90k annually
