Job Overview
ALG Holdings Family, LLC in Fort Worth is seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Administrative Assistant to provide support to our oil and gas partner company, Kroh Exploration. Experience in the oil and gas industry is required for this position.
ALG Holdings is the parent company of many other businesses/brands including commercial and residential real estate, oil and gas, restaurants, and entertainment.
Duties of the Administrative Assistant will include data entry, preparing reports, maintaining appropriate filing systems and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work through utilization of various information systems, databases and tools such as Quickbooks, MS Office and their Google equivalents. If you have previous experience working in the oil and gas industry, we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities
Prepare and execute industry-specific documentation, reports and compliance paperwork
Meticulous maintenance and upkeep of all relevant filing systems, databases and information systems, project management tools and platforms
Perform regular data entry, financial reporting and reconciliation and accounts payable duties
Have excellent communication skills, write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, etc. with professional and timely execution
Maintain vendor and contact lists and correspondence
Organize and schedule appointments; maintain company calendars and assist staff with logistics and planning
Skills
Experience as an oil and gas administrator
Experience as an oil and gas administrative assistant or office admin assistant
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures with a specialized focus on oil and gas operations and industry specific terminology
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in Quickbooks, MS Office Suite (MS Excel and MS Word, and their Google equivalents)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work with consistent follow through
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Basic bookkeeping and accounts payable experience
High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
