NETA Test Technician Job Responsibilities NETA Technicians commute to project sites (industrial & Data Centre) to inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data of low, medium and high voltage (480 Volt to 600 kV) electrical systems. Instrument transformer tests, Breaker Testing Power transformer testing - Doble, TTR, Insulation Resistance, etc. Test both electromechanical and solid-state relays Cable testing - Tan Deltas, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hi-pot Automatic transfer switch troubleshooting Low, Medium and High voltage switchgear and circuit breaker testing Moderately complex relay calibration and power metering. Rotate emergency on-call duty and if called respond to customer emergencies in a timely manne Requirements Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma/Electrical Engineering Degree and/or Electrical State License Preferred Minimum 2 years of field experience Qualifications including: NETA Level II - Certified Technician, NETA Level III - Certified Technician and NETA Level IV - Certified Senior Technician (Or relevant experience) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to adapt in a fast-paced growing environment. Uses understanding of how each business unit creates value to the organization. Explores and addresses underlying, and long-term client needs while scanning the environment to identify new customers Ability to travel
