Mining Manager: PABCO Gypsum Las Vegas a wallboard manufacturing Company is now hiring a Mining Manager to oversee the production and safety of the Mining, Beneficiating and Recycle department. Job description: Manage all aspects of operation for mining, beneficiating and recycle. Develop long and short-term plans. Create production goals so that they can be carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Mining operations consists of an open pit mine that mines gypsum rock at a million tons per year and Beneficiating plant utilizing a wet system. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local agencies regarding safety and environmental. Conduct safety compliance audits and in compliance with MSHA standards. Responsible to meet all production objectives. Responsible for annual budget preparation and management of departmental costs. Plans and supervises reclamation of post mining areas to meet or exceed the permit or regulatory requirements. Prepare capital justifications for new equipment purchases and major components. Participates in mining feasibility studies to define proper mining methods, equipment selection and mine site facilities. Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geology, or related discipline. At least five (5) years' experience in the mining industry, mine planning and supervision.
