Job Description:

The Test Equipment and Environments Center (TE&EC) is within the Systems Integration & Test directorate at RMD. The Test Equipment and Environments Center (TE&EC) includes all of the engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test on all Raytheon Missile Defense (RMD) products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including: test requirements, test system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental testing, environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. The Test Equipment and Environments Center (TE&EC) is seeking Electrical Engineers.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

o You will be a member of multidiscipline engineering teams performing design, development, and integration of RMD test products within TE&EC.

o Typical work involves the development of both engineering and production test equipment, environments and systems.

o You will contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and will be responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of their assigned projects.

o You will be expected to act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.

Qualifications You Must Have:

o Typically requires Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and three (3) years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, nine (9) years of relevant experience is required

o Professional electrical engineering design experience to include electronic design, troubleshooting, analysis, and test

o Previous work experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools such as: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, or equivalent

o Experience with commonly used test equipment, such as: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters, etc.

o Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics

o Experience working in a team environment

o U.S. Citizenship is required

Qualifications We Value:

o Experience leading a team

o Master of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

o The ability to provide technical leadership in a multidiscipline team environment.

o Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design

o Experience designing, testing and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect

o Must be a self-starter and able to manage workload to meet assigned deadlines

o Excellent technical writing and formal presentation experience

o Demonstrated ability to lead single- or multi-discipline teams of engineers

o Project management experience

o Bid and proposal experience

o A working knowledge of computer architecture and computer hardware optimization techniques

o Experience with developing and implementing programming languages

o Experience utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software

o Ability and willingness to utilize existing designs as a starting point to interface with new units under test (UUTs) and UUT configurations when necessary

o Experience with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis

o Practical knowledge of project management

o Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

o An interest in international travel
