Job Summary:

The Surface Based Electrical Design and Support Department (SBEDS) is responsible to support the production and development of electrical subsystems used in our Land and Naval based programs.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Troubleshooting electronics in a lab or production environment
• Performing system and circuit level analysis
• Supporting failure investigations
• Maintaining and creating documentation
• Interacting with multi-discipline groups including suppliers
• Mentoring junior engineering staff

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
• Minimum 5 years of experience to include 3 of the following:
  • Hands-on radar systems design, system realization, or testing of RF and microwave radar systems
  • Experience with airborne radar guidance section production or development
  • Experience in RF component design, analysis, fabrication, or troubleshooting
  • Experience with RF laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, or network analyzers
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to day one. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

• Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
• System integration experience: system integration and development of test procedures for lab and site
• Strong knowledge and understanding of analog RF components, ADC and DAC performances
• Familiarity with industry standard RF circuit design software and PCB layout
• Practical experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle
• Experience in creation and improvement of engineering development processes
• Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter who is capable of working independently
• Practical knowledge of project management.
• Ability to acquire a Special Access Programs Clearance
