Job Summary:
The Low Voltage Power Products (LVPP) Department supports key Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) products, by providing mission-critical designs relating to power conversion, motor controls, flight termination systems, telemetry, and other analog domains.
We are looking for junior to mid-level Telemetry (TM) and Flight Termination Subsystem (FTS) engineers to help design robust TM & FTS systems for important national defense products.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Assist in the design of airborne telemetry (and related flight safety) systems
Become the "Responsible Engineering Authority" (REA) for FTS and/or TM designs.
Generate and/or compile all required analysis and documentation verifying compliance with program and performance requirements.
Familiar with Flight Termination and Telemetry subsystem design.
Familiar RCC319 and how it impacts FTS and TM designs.
Help see an FTS circuit card through its design phases, from requirements definition through initial integration testing.
Drive to meet schedule concerns. Define schedules for FTS circuit card level tasking.
Function as an individual contributor. Understand the role of a small team lead.
Engage in personal technical growth at RMD.
Clearly present your work product to functional and program leadership.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Typically requires 2+ years' experience in electronics design with emphasis on digital and analog design and analysis
Design experience with communications systems such as TM and/or design experience with FTS
Experience with utilizing specifications to drive design decisions.
Experience with electronics laboratory diagnosis and testing.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:

Experience communicating and documenting technical topics at the small team level.
Professional exposure to designs using microcontrollers, FPGA's, and digital interfaces.
Experience with the ECAD process and conceptual understanding of layout and routing concerns.
Professional exposure to system grounding schemes and resolving ground reference issues.
Professional exposure to power supply design.
Professional exposure to detailed printed circuit board layout.
Professional exposure to TEMPEST
Professional exposure to RF and Radar.
