Adamson Systems Engineering is a mixed mode manufacturer with a strong focus on integration of product technologies, located in beautiful Port Perry Ontario. The maintenance and construction group comprises electricians, millwrights as well as skilled construction labor supporting and expanding the facility and manufacturing infrastructure. Our high-tech facility and manufacturing environment is designed with lean assembly principals throughout, featuring, electronics SMT & assembly, laser machining, CNC machining, powder/wet spray coating, and other various assembly operations.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, adjust, repair, and maintain manufacturing and construction equipment
Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans
Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff
Responsible for maintaining and servicing plumbing systems and circulating pumps
Ability to use hand and power tools
Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machineries
Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations
Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machineries
Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances
Assist Manufacturing Engineers in custom projects
Qualifications and/or experience:
Minimum of 7+ years in a manufacturing environment
Excellent working knowledge of mechanical systems (Hydraulic/ pneumatic)
A strong mechanical aptitude
Perform preventative maintenance on a diverse variety of machinery
Read and interpret blueprint and schematic drawings
Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment
Work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines
Preferred:
PLC experience and knowledge
Relevant certifications - working at heights
Heavy equipment experience and knowledge
