Your role:
In your role as a metrology technician, you will work with a team of engineers and technicians to perorm dimensional inspection of missile and aviation components in a high-accuracy demensional metrology laboratory.
What you'll do all day:
Develop and implement dimensional inspection plans for components using state-of-the-art computerized dimensional metrology test equipment.
Work with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and a variety of dimensional measurement systems.
Use 3-dimensional computer-aided design (CAD) software to analyse dimensional inspection data generated by a CMM.
Use hand measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to perform inspection.
Take photos and perform visual inspections of parts.

Minimum requirements for this position:
One (1) year of applicable experience in engineering technical work that developed skills in quality, precision measurement, or CAD modeling; or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintan a Security Clearance.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass a drug screening.
