Job Title: Millwright
Job Location: Plaquamine, LA
Salary: Industry Competitive Rates and Per Diem on Select Jobs
Qualifications:
OSHA 10 and or Basic Plus
Completion of Pre-Hire and Post-Hire Substance abuse testing as required by company and or client
Must be Authorized to work in the U.S High School Diploma / GED
Must have 7-10 years' experience with refinery/chemical/energy mechanical equipment
Must have machinist/millwright experience that can be proven
Must have monitoring experience using data analysis, pup vibration analysis, compressor systems, lube oil
Read Diagrams and Schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures
Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts
Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances
Job Summary:
Accountable for the care and maintenance of all property and production assets in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsible for staying up to date on new products, equipment, technology, and techniques
Other duties may be assigned
Ensure operation of machinery and equipment by completing maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems
Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Use a variety of hand and power tools and handling equipment in performing duties
Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory
Follow all required work safe practices including lock-out tag-out requirements and wearing of all required PPE in designated areas
Additional requirements: Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and other standards Knowledge of power/hand tools
Communication skills
Medical Questionnaire & Fit Test: No - Unless specified by Client
