Job Overview
Primary Duties:
Be the primary site contact for the design, install and implementation of new equipment.
Lead site activities with regards to new equipment during all phases of projects.
Interface effectively with contractors to ensure implementation success.
Build the timeline of projects and develop needs to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
Negotiation skills with suppliers to achieve success in cost to budget.
Resolve issues that arise from daily project problems for completion.
Maintain progress reports of all projects and report to Engineering Manager.
Identify future projects to ensure Plant sustainability and promote continuous improvement.
Schedule preventive maintenance and training procedures for new equipment and review existing documents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in project management and coordinating activities or an Associate's Degree and 10 years of experience in project management.

Clear, accurate and concise communication.
Knowledge base in electrical and programming a plus.
Able to demonstrate good problem-solving driven by data.
Ability to rapidly learn new concepts with little to no supervision.
Must be able to lead and train maintenance and operators on new equipment being installed.
Deal with contractors on a regular basis.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Solid Works and Auto Cad proficiency a definite plus.

Required
Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineer or related field
