Our Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Oklahoma City, OK. to support projects associated with the design and development of communication, navigation, radar, avionics, power and/or electrical systems architecture, components, circuits, and products or aircraft maintenance. The employee will research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and products for defense systems or commercial purposes.
This engineer will support the Lead Engineer in execution of various program activities, to include program reviews, test procedure, report, and control plan development and review, requirements management, automated test software development, test execution and witnessing, and hardware selection and specification development.
Responsibilities:
Salary Range: $1 USD - $1 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Responsibilities:
- Works to modify or upgrade flight decks and mission systems on a wide variety aircraft
- Studies and engages with current Integrated Avionics and Mission Systems technologies, concurrent product definition, architecture definition, design synthesis and verification on a variety of different aircraft platforms
- Researches, plans, designs, and develops / and or modifies mechanical products and systems such as aircraft structure, instruments, controls, and mechanical, thermal hydraulic, or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy
- Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, and controls
- Prepares, develops, and presents status reports and designs trade studies
- Level 2: A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of engineering experience OR a Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 0 years of engineering experience
- Level 3: A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience OR a Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 1 years of engineering experience
