Job Details

Responsibilities

• Work with both external and internal customers to fully understand their needs.
• Design and modify existing and new machinery designs using Solidworks CAD software.
• Work with purchasing and suppliers to procure parts.
• Assemble and test designs to ensure manufacturability.
• Travel to customers' facilities to understand their challenges, assist with installs, and interact with customers as required.

Key Skills And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, machine design experience preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Experience specing components such as motors, gearboxes, and other components based on equipment requirements.
• Experience with Solidworks for creating assemblies, parts, and detailed drawings.
• Able to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Hands-on, willing to get your hands dirty, including installing machinery in challenging food manufacturing environments.
• Accountable and reliable -- takes responsibility for ensuring that the project is completed correctly, on time, and on budget
