Mechanical Engineer III

The Mechanical Engineer III is a highly senior position that will manage projects from the analysis of the customer's needs through project specification, concept, design, test and installation. Perform varied design engineering functions of a complex nature with prime responsibility for small large-systems design projects working through verbal or written communication from the manager.

What You'll Do:

• Take projects from the analysis of the client's needs through project specification, concept, design, test and installation.
• Develop the appropriate documentation (BOM'S, ECN's and REA's) to support engineering in the development, design or modification of products as required.
• Responsible for large sub-system design projects working through verbal or written communication from the Engineering Manager.
• Develop and monitor the project budget and schedule, utilizing design skills and project management expertise
• Travel as required to evaluate projects, install and troubleshoot engineering modifications, and offer assistance to other departments
• Manage large design projects with support of Mechanical Engineer I, II and III's and shop personal.

Who You Are:

What You'll Need:

• Proficiency in design using AutoCAD Inventor or other 3D software.Ability to lead a team of
• Mechanical Engineer I, II and III's and shop personnel.Ability to make sound technical decisions, prioritize projects, and complete critical items in a timely fashion.
• Able to multi-task several design assignments.
• Ability to work directly with customers to assess their engineering requirements.
• Solid working knowledge / experience with manufacturing practices, assembly procedures, and machine and mechanical mechanism design
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
• Seven to 10 years of machine design experience.
