We are expanding and looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 5-7 years of experience. This position is well suited for a highly motivated individual seeking a fast-paced and rewarding work experience. In this position, you will actively participate in the full project construction cycle, from predesign through final project closeout.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years experience in commercial HVAC design of various types of HVAC systems involving equipment selection and ductwork design of rooftop airside systems, central plant and boiler systems, hydronic piping, VRF and DOAS systems
• Strong understanding of International Mechanical Code and ASHRAE
• Experience performing field survey work in support of design drawings and as-built drawing development
• Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit with ability to design/draft.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, positive team environment.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and meet internal and external client deadlines.
• Ability and willingness to mentor junior designers
• Ability and willingness to perform project QA/QC tasks prior to deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of various construction means and methods.
• Strong knowledge of equipment manufacturers and available products.
• Ability to review shop drawings.
• Able to effectively communicate with various clients at all levels
