  As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  
  
  • Creating Drill Bit Design and manufacturing packages utilizing 3-D modelling and data management systems
    
  • Interfacing with Product Line Management, Operations, Manufacturing, and Technology groups to improve product performance and process efficiency
    
  • Documenting and sharing lessons learned, with cross functional groups
    
  • Supporting Manufacturing with problem solving and issue resolution
    
  • Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, and applicable processes for HSE, Quality, Legal Compliance and Cultural pillars
    
  
  
  
• To be successful in this role you will:
  
  • Have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years relevant experience, Mechanical Engineering
    
  • Have experience with 3D CAD system
    
  • Have experience with simulations software for FEA, CFD
    
  • Experience in Drill Bits (PDC, Tricone or Kymera)
    
  • Select engineering techniques and utilize analysis tools to solve problems and makes sound design recommendations
    
  • Be familiar with mechanical component designs and applied methods
    
  • Drive consistent usage of product design standards (and support updates)
    
  • May be the lead on engineering projects with some functional supervision
