Job Overview
US Special Delivery is seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic for our Hammond WI Shop.
In this fast-paced role, you will be working with a successful, family-owned regional LTL Carrier and Logistics Provider. US Special Delivery, which values its employees as its asset, has been in business for over 45 years with a strong focus on safety!
Hours- Monday - Friday, 6:00 - 15:30
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Maintain a safety-conscious culture and work environment.
Inspect mechanical equipment to diagnose defects.
Analyze malfunctions and perform a tune-up or preventive maintenance of equipment.
Review vehicle inspection reports and ensure all repairs are made to ensure trucks are in safe operating condition.
Ability to learn Engine Overhauls.
Enter labor hours and parts into the repair order computer system.
Perform other duties as needed.
