Superior is currently seeking a full time experienced Mechanic for our fleet of vehicles.
The position of Mechanic will consist of but will not be limited to the following duties and responsibilities:

Job description:

Approach all repairs, maintenance, and inspections with a sense of urgency and in a proactive manner to ensure we meet the State and Federal regulations on a daily basis.
Implement and follow an enhanced preventative maintenance program for all vehicles and review with the Operations Manager all issues and concerns.
Assist the Operations Manager on the general condition review of all company vehicles, document findings and submit to the Operations Manager.
Work with and utilize the mechanics located at all Superior locations to assist in the upkeep, inspections and repairs when needed.
Ensure all repair diagnosing is done in a timely manner to enable repairs to be completed.
Review our current parts and supplies purchasing process to ensure we are maximizing and obtaining the best and most efficient cost on all parts and supplies.
Follow the current process for all vehicle repair paperwork procedures and look for ways to improve efficiencies in managing the paperwork related to vehicle repair and maintenance.
As part of your responsibilities, you will be required to handle all administrative tasks related to vehicle repair and maintenance including writing purchase orders, processing maintenance repair tickets, reviewing invoicing and billing inquires, processing in The POR system etc.
All billing paperwork must be submitted weekly to the office for review and approval.
Work with the Operation Manager in the selling or disposing of vehicles, obtain sell pricing or disposal approval and be the point of contact person for inquiries.
Observe the security of the vehicles during hours of operation and ensure they are secured after hours.
Submit all required documentation for all incidents related to Personnel, Property and Vehicles by using the Superior Incident Reports.
Ensure all senior management, vehicle operators, branch managers and office support personnel receive service or response in an efficient, timely, professional, and respectful manner.

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or GED
5+ years' experience as vehicle mechanic preferred
Lift up to 50lbs
Valid Drivers License with clean record
