Job Overview
Pool and Spa Depot is hiring for a Fleet Mechanic for our LaVergne, TN headquarters.

The Mechanic will perform general maintenance, diagnose, and repair on cars, trucks, and off-road equipment in a safe and efficient manner. In addition the mechanic, will maintain and repair machinery and warehouse lift equipment to maintain the safety and reliability of the unit.
Job Duties include; but are not limited to the following;
Perform repair work on vehicles such as breakdowns, malfunctions & emergency roadside repair in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform operation test prior to repairs to verify complaint
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturers specifications including engines, transmissions and clutches, suspension and steering, fuel and ignition (gas and diesel), electrical systems, brakes, and HVAC systems
Perform preventive maintenance on fleet such as fluid changes, lubricants, safety inspections, and brake repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance on off-road equipment such as lubricants, adjustments, cutting tip replacements, and safety inspections.
Perform final operational test on all vehicles to quality-check all repairs
Examine vehicle to determine if any additional safety or repair work is needed.
Ensure that fleet vehicles are kept clean and washed after repair is completed
All other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-3 years mechanical experience with diesel and gas equipment
Current and valid driver's license
DOT Certification Knowledge
Skilled in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on trucks and equipment
Ability to operate various pieces of equipment such as backhoes and lifts
