MBSE Modeler Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Part time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local CACI is looking for an MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering ) Modeler who has knowledge SysML and Cameo to help our team design and implement combat system architecture. As an MBSE Modeler, you will create SysML models within the Cameo tool suite as well as design and perform tests to verify the functional validity of the MBSE products. NOTE: THIS IS A SIX-MONTH, PART-TIME ASSIGNMENT. CONTRACT COULD BE EXTENDED PAST SIX-MONTHS. What You'll Get to Do: + Requires familiarity with Navy Combat Systems architecture, development, testing and certification associated with Track Management, Display/HSI and Navigation; + Familiarity with industry leading MBSE tools and modeling methodologies to successfully produce systems engineering artifacts; + You'll model requirements and map allocation to system functions; + You'll establish verification and validation controls within Cameo to ensure that the design meets requirements + Must be able to work with minimal oversight and meet deadlines; + Must have effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills; + Must be proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; + Must be able to manage your time, be on time to meetings, and juggle priorities. You'll Bring These Qualifications: + Minimum of 2+ years of technology consulting or other relevant industry experience. + Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience highly desirable. + Digital Engineering and systems thinking; + Model-based System Development (MBSD)' + Proficient with MBSE tools and SysML modeling; + Tools such as MagicDraw (Cameo, Collaborator), Sparx EA, OpenMBEE; + Experience with system architecture frameworks like DoDAF & UPDM; + Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: + 4-year college degree in a STEM field. + Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
