Our client is a reputable geotechnical, environmental and civil engineering firm serving North and South Carolina. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Marketing Proposal Manager for pursuit of Federal and Private contract work to be based out of their Charleston, SC office. The Marketing Proposal Manager will collaborate with our technical staff to create tightly written, graphicly appealing proposals.

About the job:

• Understand how to oversee the proposal phase of complex federal opportunities and other responses for federal and commercial solicitations, including:
  • Writing and/or editing entire proposal sections or volumes (such as project descriptions and resumes), together with technical staff
  • Thinking creatively to envision proposal graphics that improve evaluator retention and understanding
  • Scheduling to meet tight deadlines
  • Leading meetings, assigning tasks, and managing the performance of the proposal team
  • Understanding pricing and estimating to ensure accuracy in proposals
  • Complying with client requirements/deadlines and developing content for contract award
  • Incorporating reviews/feedback prior to submission
  • When needed, help coach technical staff regarding interviews/presentations
  • Leading lessons learned activities and contributing feedback and innovative ideas to the team in support of continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of proposal management experience including 2 years responding to federal agencies' RFPs
• Track record of federal civil or environmental services proposal development and contract wins preferred
• Working knowledge of government and military contracts, GSA, and FAR
