The Scientific Team with Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring a Laboratory-based Manufacturing Project Engineer for their facility based out of Reynoldsburg , OH!

This is a 3-month contract role with potential for extension or conversion.

Job Responsibilities:

-Full product cycle from Concept to launching the product in store

-Production of technical drawings, fit and function evaluation, manufacturing and validation, tooling, testing procedures, and quality.

-Responsible for daily project management skills, tracking of milestones, and both internal and vendor communication.

-This position will work in a collaborative, cross functional environment with partners in Retail, Merchandising, Logistics, Design, Operations and Global Vendor -Management, as well as outside vendors.

-Package/R&D Testing, Set up Bill of Materials (BOM's), Conducting Pilot's and Line Trials, Specifications for Fill and Assembly SOP Standards, Component Sample Requests, Interaction with external component and contract fillers on a tactical level

Qualifications:

-BS Cosmetic Science, Chemistry or a Engineering Discipline, preferably in Packaging, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering

Relevant internship and or school leadership experience

-Organization, Communication, Problem Solving, Team Oriented and the ability to Multitask.

-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

-Strong organizational skills, ability to multi task and prioritize tasks

-Experience in manufacturing and or consumer goods retail

-System and computer proficiency

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment with demonstrated initiative and ability to achieve results.
