Physical required
Hours 7am-3:30 pm M-F
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Production of products in a variety of manufacturing areas.
- Follows written instructions via MPS/SOP/ISO guidelines. May be asked to
perform simple experiments.
- Monitors process, identifies opportunities for process improvement, and
designs/conducts simple experiments to
increase yield, improve product quality, or develop new products.
- Assists R&D in manufacturing of new products.
Packaging of products in a variety of manufacturing areas.
- Package and label all products according to instructions.
Testing of products.
- Prepares samples for QC and external labs. Completes in-process
inspections as required.
- Maintains QC experimental records if required.
Operate/Maintain all necessary related lab equipment.
- Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
of all equipment required for manufacturing of products.
Material Handling
- Maintain inventory of raw materials and request supplies at established
levels.
-Perform necessary transactions/documentation.
Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work area and related lab equip.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- HS Diploma or Equivalent:
Experience:
1-3 years effective work experience
Essential and Critical Skills:
-Ability to write legibly. Ability to use simple math formulas. Ability
to use simple hand tools and set up and operate a variety of labelling and
packaging equipment. Ability to perform under a minimum of supervision, make
independent decisions, organize work and effectively document work through
records and reports as necessary. Ability to use PC and common software.
ADDITIONAL LOCAL NEEDS:
Production Environment
Physical Requirements:
- Regular use of PC and lab equipment including but not limited to hand tools,
balances, pumps, ovens and various labelling equipment. Ability to handle
chemicals safely.
- Vision within normal limits.
- Ability to move materials weighing typically between 15-50 lbs.
- Ability to move between various work stations within the lab.
