Role
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician role involves participating on a project team, gathering and analyzing data, and assisting with facility layout. This position will also work with other team members to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
Implement production facility improvement projects with other team members and engineers
Project team member of the Scanco implementation team for warehouse and inventory information system
Gather data from manufacturing departments and assist in analysis
Analyze facility production layout then present and share information with facility team members
Qualifications/Requirements:
Engineering Technology or Associates STEM degree with 0 years of experience
Bachelor's (STEM Degree) preferred
1 year experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role preferred
Excellent communicator and works with others to with production team members and members of engineering team.
Familiar with AutoCAD and Auto Desk Inventor preferred but not required
Experience in Lean process implementation.
Under technical direction, assist in implementing projects as assigned
Willing to roll up sleeves and be hands-on with projects and co-workers
Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:
This position is performed a manufacturing environment and office environment. May be exposed to loud operating machinery, cold and hot temperatures.
May require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
May require use of computer, fax machine, copy machine, other office equipment, Microsoft Office, Access, PowerPoint
