Location This position is based out of San Diego, CA, and typically requires up to 15% travel. Responsibilities • Consolidate best practices from project execution • Leading pursuit of design-build projects • Lead team of Kiewit design engineers and subconsultants • Identify design-build opportunities and develop win strategy for capture • Interface and maintain relationships with external design partners • Manage schedule and budget • Manage deliverables, quality and compliancy • Interface with other Kiewit operating districts • Interface with construction project leadership (Db coordinators and others) Qualifications • Ability to travel up 10-15% • 15+ years of design management experience with an emphasis on design-build • Professional registration required • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative • Strong work ethic, willingness to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity • Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail Additional Requirements: + Absent an approved exemption, due to federal, state, local, provincial and/or client-requirements, this position may require an individual to be fully vaccinated by an FDA-approved or authorized COVID-19 vaccine or undergo weekly testing upon hire and as a condition of continued employment.
