Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Systems Engineering to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, CA. The selected candidate will work closely with the Foreign Military Sales Program Team in various engineering functions, and suppliers to ensure the overall system meets all performance requirements and resolving technical and programmatic issues as they arise. Essential Functions: Serve as the Systems Engineering Lead for the NATO In-Service Support Program Leadership skills to plan, organize and manage technical activities and to effectively motivate multiple disciplines to work as an integrated team across locations and organizations. Responsible for the IFC roadmap including ECPs for capability insertions to NATO AGS through the ISS contract. Responsible for maintaining the safety, cyber, and PAR baselines for the NATO AGS. Responsible for developing/maintaining a process set that can support Agile execution of quarterly updates, with a DAAA international type certificate, and NGDS as prime. Basic Qualifications: BS in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical engineering, computer science, or other STEM degree, and 9 years industry experience (7 years with Master's, 4 years with PhD) Full-up earned value management system and reporting (with team size 10EP or greater) of a technical IPT Experience in technical leadership as IPT lead or sub-IPT technical lead in systems engineering, software, electronics or payloads IPTs Proven change leadership; evidence of championing technical change which resulted in performance improvements and/or team efficiencies Active DoD Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications: Active Top Secret clearance IFC Management experience Experience in Autonomous Systems Programs Ground Segment Architecture and Integration experience Master's degree in a STEM field Salary Range: $171,000.00 - $256,400.00 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
