As an integral part of our System Supportability team in Mission Systems you will be a front-line Supervisor that will focus on System Safety, Maintainability and Human Engineering.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience, a Master's degree with 7 years of experience or a PhD with 4 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical fields.
This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: $137,000 USD - $205,600 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Provide technical leadership in one or more of the System Safety, Maintainability and/or Human Engineering disciplines and work to drive sound systems engineering on programs.
- Interfacing with Government Representatives and other contractors in the performance of their daily duties, is anticipated.
- Lead and manage a group of 5 to 10 individuals focused on design (e.g. safety, maintainability, human engineering).
- Conducting interviews, staffing department, and partnering with Talent Acquisition to hire and retain talent
- Lead and coordinate employees personnel career development and training to include performing technical reviews, performance appraisals and merit planning
- Perform workload forecasting while maintaining budget and schedule development
- implementation of systems engineering process improvement initiatives
- Identify and help implement business growth opportunities with estimates and proposal development
- Maintains department/company policies, compliance and procedures

- U.S. Citizenship and active secret DoD clearance is required
- Experience in People and Technical Leadership roles
