Job Overview
Seeking an experienced Manager of Maintenance & Engineering to oversee supervisors in coordinating activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, and in fabricating parts and tools in a machine shop. Will direct engineering of new equipment design, installation and modification for safety, quality and productivity improvements.
Responsibilities:
Manages departmental budget for maintenance activities.
Performs periodic review and update of job descriptions of subordinates.
Directs supervisors in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
Oversees dismantling, assembling, and installing of industrial machinery.
Develops, plans, and schedules major projects.
Directs programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers.
Recommends measures to improve employee safety, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Assists in trouble-shooting, repairs and/or training.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's Degree.
2. 5 or more years of Industrial Maintenance Management.
