The Manager 1 position primary responsibility is a Lab Operations lab supervisor in an agile, operations and test support oriented organization. Duties include planning and managing work priorities, overseeing adherence to company/government policies and procedures, and ensuring that quality and safety standards are met. Daily responsibilities include leading a team of technical professionals to support cable and harness configuration, modification, and installation; leading manufacturing and structural production operations; building and managing employee shift schedules to support test operations; providing configuration documentation; and providing overall test support. Additional responsibilities include supporting annual procedure updates and audits to meet company, Quality Assurance (QA), and DCMA directives. Professional interaction with all levels of company leadership is required.
This position will require support of multiple shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide direct manager support, leadership, training, and guidance to technician team members.
- Analyze current production and test activities to make recommendations for improvements to processes and equipment.
- Provide tracking of Preventative Maintenance activities on all lab support equipment and ensure test readiness at all times.
- Generate, update, and maintain work instructions as needed. Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology, and production processes for innovative ways to reduce costs and streamline operations.
- Responsible for all maintenance and sustainment activities in a lab environment.
- Assist with engineering change orders and deviations.
- H.S. Diploma with 7years experience in project management and / or test operations environment
- 1 yr experience leading /supervising staff in operations and test environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance.
- Associates degree and 4+ years of technical experience in project management and / or test operations environment.
- Leadership experience in a production or test operations environment.
- Experience managing maintenance and sustainment of aircraft and/or ground support equipment.
- Experience maintaining industrial hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance concepts and standards.
- Experience with the 5s process.
