Roles and Responsibilities: Individuals that have responsibility for leading EHS governance audits and GE's EHS audit & governance strategy. These individuals are tied to the governance team, not to a specific business or site/service operation. Additionally, while they generally focus within one region they may work across regional boundaries on specific initiatives. Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area. Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area. Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters. Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or related EHS field Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time Desired Characteristics: Experience in wind industry, construction projects or customer services activities Local legislation must be following as a minimum Demonstrated professional experience and deep domain expertise in Environment, Health & Safety Experience in Wind Industry in required, Experience in Offshore Wind Industry in a plus Medical ability for working at height is mandatory Superior leadership, interpersonal and strategic skills Excellent computer skills for use of digital tools Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as organizations outside LM/GE (customers and regulatory agencies) Strong oral and written communication skills Fluent English skills; additional language is a plus.
