Position Summary The E/E Systems Engineering Manager serves as the go-to person for anything related to the E/E system on LeM platforms. They will lead a team and provide technical feedback through their blend of both technical and managerial knowledge. Responsibilities Serve as E/E system architect for LeM products Manage a team of E/E engineers in a SCRUM environment; mentor other E/E system engineers Develop and implement best practices based on industry standards and document per ISO 9001 Develop and track key performance indicators (KPI's) for the group and regularly report results to leadership Define low voltage, high voltage, grounding, and communication architecture for LeM platforms Develop and maintain logical and physical schematics structured for the different platform functions Release E/E components such as harnesses and fuse boxes for production Create and maintain E/E system level requirements that can be cascaded to components and platform functions Create and maintain an E/E system DFMEA on a per function basis Develop and maintain E/E component profiles as well as platform electrical profiles Manage changes and variances of the E/E system Create manufacturing and commissioning requirements of the E/E system Create and specify tests to understand the E/E characteristics of components, systems, and platforms Create vehicle level electrical simulations for different electrical transients and fault cases Work with lead platform engineers to accommodate their needs for the various LeM platforms Perform recruiting, on-boarding, annual reviews, and other human resource related duties Manage external engineering firms to supplement the team resources Other duties as assigned Competencies Technically Adept: Stays on top of technology trends and is fluent in using technology to improve their effectiveness.
