What You'll Be Doing
Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and machines to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly and calibration in partnership with the Supervisor, Maintenance
Observes and tests the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions, utilizing necessary testing equipment
Assist in the planning, coordinating, and implementation of special projects, equipment installation, and routine maintenance
Operates newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs completed
Examines parts and equipment for defects or excessive wear
Records repairs, maintenance, parts and materials used, and order new parts and materials as necessary
The Best Candidate Will Have
High school diploma or GED equivalent
2 years of facilities maintenance experience
2-3 years of mechanical and electrical background
Experience working in the pet food or food production industry is preferred
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and use hands
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
Strong teamwork mentality and eager to work in a team environment
