Description:

Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, electrical systems throughout the facility. Incumbent must be able to interpret and use electrical schematics, drawings, blueprints, manuals, power tools, hand tools, measuring and testing equipment. An understanding of A/C & D/C power, pneumatics, hydraulics, CNC trouble shooting and repair. Must follow all safety & environmental rules and regulations. This is a 2nd or 3rd shift position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow all Safety procedures
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems
• Repair & maintain all production equipment
• Maintain building lighting, electrical, plumbing and structure
• Keep current with all relevant environmental laws and regulations pertaining to your job duties.
• Utilize company Lock/out Tag/out program
• Maintain a clean safe working environment within all areas of the building
• Report unsafe conditions & acts to the Facility Manager immediately.
• Able to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, communications skills.

Requirements:

Education

• High School Diploma, Technical school preferred
• Experience
• Thorough understanding of machine maintenance, electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and a strong mechanical background, 2-3 years experience preferred.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• 24 hour Haz-Mat training preferred.
• Computer Skills
• Microsoft word, Email
• Other Skills (Communication, Writing, Foreign Language, Technical, Analytical or Other)
• Preferred Job Function Competency:
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
