EXPERIENCED MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

This position will be responsible for general maintenance of commercial office buildings, including general property upkeep and preventative tasks.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain personal technical skills necessary to provide a superior level of service, minimizing the use of outside vendors.
• Ensure that assigned service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner through personal efforts.
• Participate in an "On-Call" rotation with other maintenance employees (every third week)
• Maintain professional interaction with Tenants
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Management Team, and assist the overall team effort in any way possible
• Normal schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job Requirements:

• Experience working in the maintenance or construction field
• HVAC Certification (Type II or Universal) - A plus. Properties have residential split-systems
• 1+ years of experience with 410-A Refrigerant systems (a plus!)
• Basic Electrical
• Basic Plumbing
• Basic Carpentry
• High attention to detail
• Able to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently; have a good work ethic.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to maintain high-quality site appearance and curb appeal
• Able to lift 50+ pounds
• Valid driver's license required
