American Plastics, a private equity-backed leading injection molded plastics manufacturer specializing in Retail Storage, Janitorial, Food Service and Cleaning products is looking for energic maintenance technicians who like to work as a team in a growing organization.
As a Maintenance Technician you will spend the majority of their time troubleshooting and repairing equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills and an in-depth knowledge of industrial controls with injection machines. This position will also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on equipment as well as any repairs on machinery and mechanical equipment.
Shifts: 12/HR Shifts 2-2-3 Schedule7pm-7amWorking every other weekend on this schedule.

Requirements:
3-5 years' experience in Plastic Manufacturing; preferably plastic injection molding
Strong electrical background
Self-directed
Die setting experience
Ability to read and understand blueprints, electric and hydraulic schematics
Experience with part picking robots, programming, and troubleshooting
Team player with good attendance history
Have a strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotics, and mechanical background
Effective communication and writing skills
Ability to maintain work area, tools, parts, and equipment in a clean and organized manner for the purposes of safety, efficiency, and appearance
Technician must have his/her own hand tools
