Seeking Housekeeping staff to join our team. Must be reliable and dedicated to providing excellent service to our residents. Healthcare experience is great but not required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare food, serve residents, clean up after meals. The role of the Maintenance Technician is to maintain the day-to-day operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations.
Responsible for the completion of all engineering service requests as assigned which include preventive maintenance.
Complete make-ready process of vacant rooms as directed by the Director of Plant Operations.
Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
Deliver all necessary and required goods to their respective units as assigned.
Coordinate special projects as directed by the Director of Plant Operations or Administrator.
Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
Prepare to be called into work and/or work extended hours due to snow, emergencies, or other staff needs.
Carry cell phone as required for on-call maintenance.
Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
Maintain dumpster areas in good condition.
Responsible for alerting Director of Engineering of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have or that may occur to the facility.
Maintain a professional courteous manner with all residents, visitors and vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
Assure safety standards are used which company with all Facility, City, State, Federal and OSHA guidelines.
Ensure all HIPAA requirements are adhered to.
Adhering to all facility and department policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements:
Education:
Minimum High School Diploma or High School Equivalent
Work Experience:
At least 2 years' experience in maintenance/engineering, preferably in Long Term Care.
Job Knowledge/Requirements
Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
