JOB SUMMARY

A multi-craft position assigned to Maintenance Department. Reasonable accommodations may be made to ensure individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position may start on one shift; however, a transfer to another shift may take place in the future.

SALARY

$20-$28 per hour shift differential is 0.60-commensurate with experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensures full compliance with all AGRATI, INC. and government policies.
  • Environmental, Health & Safety standards, policies, and procedures. Implement lean manufacturing concepts including continuous improvement and 5S. Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established environmental, health, safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • To repair, adjust, and rebuild all production and facility equipment.
  • Understand and follow all environmental, health and safety policies, rules and methods.
  • Utilize equipment per manufacturers' instructions consistent with intended use, and with awareness of ergonomic issues.
  • Report all incidents and near misses immediately to your Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager.
  • Look after your fellow employees' health and safety.
  • Assist and train other employees on safe job operations/procedures.
  • Know the work-site hazards, including ergonomic issues.
  • Report and/or correct unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to your Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in their assigned area, including immediately cleaning up spills or work materials, and storing items properly.
  • Wear personal protective equipment required by established safety rules and regulations and Supervisor's instructions.
  • Attending EH&S meetings and programs.
  • Openly participate with behavior observations and utilize job safety analyses (JSA's), safe work instructions (SWI's).
  • Achieve annual LWD and TRR goals.
  • Practice preventative maintenance.
  • Machine Operators: utilize all applicable machine guarding, lock-out/tag-out procedures and electrical safety requirements, and ensure equipment is safe to operate.
  • Mobile Equipment Operators: retain up-to-date certifications, follow all regulations and ensure equipment meets safety requirements.
  • Maintenance Employees: obtain applicable permits before working, including in confined spaces, utilize fall protection and lock-out/tag-out devices.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of manufacturing machine repair and troubleshooting
  • Prefer electrical background
  • Ability to operate lathe-mill and grinder; braze - stick and wire weld
  • Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic schematics and pneumatic schematics
  • PC skills
  • High school diploma or GED
