Summary:
Maintains, repairs, or replaces parts or entire mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, automotive, refrigeration equipment or general maintenance of buildings, including laundry, commercial kitchen, power plant, and residential kitchens.
Required to be a skilled craftsman in at least 1-2 of the following trades and be able to perform limited work in all:
Plumbing
Electrical
Refrigeration
Water Treatment
Finish Plaster
Carpentry, Masonry, cement/brick block
Finish painting, floor/wall tile, wall paper
Communication and electronic equipment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Appropriate certifications and/or licenses as required by state or federal regulatory agencies for the skilled trade(s) held by the individual.
Ability to operate variety of maintenance/repair equipment.
