What Does an American Augers Maintenance Technician I Do?
Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment throughout the facility. These activities will be driven by our Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This system provides instruction, manuals, records completion, and track the time for PM tasks.
General building and equipment maintenance of cleaning/changing filters, changing light bulbs, evaluating and changing belts.
Preform meter readings and usage reports.
Checking and changing of fluids in machines/forklifts/vehicles and lubricating required maintenance points.
Minor repairs as needed throughout the facility
Other duties as assigned
What Element Do We Look For?
Journeyman Certification, or 2 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience
Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent
Computer Skills - Experience with Microsoft Outlook and a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
