Boeing is looking for an Aviation Maintenance Technician and Inspector to join our teams supporting Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Everett, WA with a temporary (6-12 months) assignment in Victorville, CA.

In this role you will perform production installations, maintenance, preventative maintenance, alterations and quality assurance on aircraft structure, systems and sub-systems, including electrical and avionics on standard or experimental certificated aircraft.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight.
  • Perform Quality functions such as Customer/FAA Coordination, Configuration Change Verification, Conformity Inspections, Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post-flights), Corrective Action and Investigations.
  • Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
  • Perform Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspector tasks in order to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required certifications.

  • Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
  • 2 + years of education and/or experience with aircraft maintenance
  • Ability to complete Fall Protection Training
  • Must be able to work any shift, overtime and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred. Please note your certificate number on your resume if you are certified.
  • Prefer a minimum of five years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background.
  • This position requires an individual when working at heights to utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations.

Domestic Temporary Assignment (DTA)

Everett, WA will be this position's home base. This program will provide a unique opportunity to work in two Boeing locations. This position requires a Domestic Temporary Assignment (DTA) for training in Victorville, CA from start date through mid to late 2023 (approx.6-12 months).
