Join our team at Fres-co! We are a world leader in flexible packaging for many industries including coffee, dairy products, tomatoes, juices, and chemicals. We are looking to welcome a new Maintenance Technician to our growing team at our Telford, PA location.
What will you get when you become a Maintenance Technician with Fres-co?
Salary: $20.00-$33.40 (depending on experience) with the potential to earn $36.50 following completion of maintenance course.

2nd Shift (Shift Differential $0.75) Sunday - Thursday 3:00PM - 11PM
3rd Shift (Shift Differential $1.00) Tuesday - Saturday 11PM-7AM
What will you do when you become a Maintenance Technician with Fres-co?
Maintain and repair building systems: HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, etc.
Maintain and repair electrical systems: (change lightbulbs, clean and repair circuit breakers)
Ensure fitness and safety of all electrical and mechanical systems through routine testing
Troubleshoot issues and repair all production machinery
Inspect alarm systems (Fire and protection) and schedule repairs when needed
Perform pest control such as spraying insecticide
Perform manual repairs (fix locks, replace windows) when needed
General upkeep of building and grounds (landscaping, painting, carpentry) when needed
What skills and knowledge should you have to be successful as a Maintenance Technician with Fres-co?
A strong electrical aptitude
Ability to read electrical control schematics
Ability to read mechanical drawings
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician and a working knowledge of maintenance processes and methods.
Mechanically inclined and understand how to use a variety of tools, common appliances and devices
A basic understanding of HVAC, hydraulic and plumbing systems
What qualifications would be helpful to have?
CMRP Certification - Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional
HVAC Certification
Building Maintenance Technology Certification
Knowledge of PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers)
What are the physical demands of the Maintenance Technician position at Fres-co?
Stand for long periods of time
Be able to lift 50 or more pounds
Be able to bend, crawl and climb
