Job description:

• The Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance and repairs as scheduled or required in order to attain maximum productivity and functionality in plant operations.
• The employee in this role must have strong communication, observational, and operational skills with a focus on safety.

Essential Duties and Other Responsibilities:

• Responsibly follow all procedures & policies with regard to repairs & maintenance
• Responsible to complete assigned tasks and projects in a highly effective, efficient, and safe manner
• Ability to notify Maintenance Supervisor of any mechanical problems and assist with any repairs
• Experience with applied skills in plumbing and electrical
• Experience with steam boilers, air compressors and water heaters

Projects and tasks may include, but are not limited to:

• Industrial equipment repair and/or maintenance
• Construction type tasks (painting, patching holes, etc.)

Shifts:

• Night Shift - 4P - 2A (some weekends, holidays and extended hours may be required)
• Day Shift - 7A - 4P (some weekends, holidays and extended hours may be required)
